Wycliff Language Course

Since begin of March we work now officially with Marburg Mission Foundation and have started preparing us for our time in Taiwan. The first two weeks we were on a language and culture course at Wycliffe (Missionary Society that deals with research on language and translating the Bible). We learned a lot and met many great people during these two weeks. We got many practical tips on how to approach a new language and culture, and are excited to apply these things to Chinese language soon. We are well aware that Chinese will be a big challenge for us but also that it has its positive aspects (for example the grammar is quite simple). If Taiwan is the right place for us then God will also help us to learn this foreign language. Over these two weeks we were also able to experience how God provides. At first we did not know what to do during the course times with Amy. We have prayed long for this. Finally Lena, a friend from our church in Germany, accompanied us and looked for Amy during the course times. We are very grateful to God, and of course to Lena for this great support.
